Keep calm & get your soak on!

Whilst cleaning the bathroom, I decided to share with you my current bath time favourites.
As I've mentioned before, I have a bit of a routine going when it comes to bath time. I live by routines, and this is one I stick to religiously. My bath time routine is a mixture of products I use over 3 days.. So I'll share them with you now..

Day One

I'm not a fan of bubble baths, I prefer a bath oil. Unfortunately I've ran out of bath oil so I've been popping a few drops of my Argan Oil Treatment into my bath. This stuff is pretty hard to get your hands on in this country, it being a Spanish brand. I got this small bottle in a beauty box.
It works just as well as a bath oil, helping my skin stay nice and soft. My Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is one of my favourite products ever. I can't get enough of it! It is a gentle powder, that activates on contact with water, releasing no end of goodies onto your skin for a gentle exfoliating wash, removing dead skin cells. My skin is looking really healthy and bright right now, I'm more than happy with my current skincare routine. And this is a staple product in my regime that I have been using for over a year now.
So, day one is all about hair removal, I'm currently using a Gillette Venus Breeze razor, I've just finished using their new Olay razor which was really nice to use, but opted for a slightly (and I mean slightly) cheaper option in their Breeze razors. With these, there is no need for a shaving gel or foam, just wet the razor and you're away. Although I like to use my Soap & Glory Clean Girls Body Wash with mine. I always use a creamy, moisturising body wash, and Soap & Glory are my ultimate favourites. The fragrances are lovely, and I'm a huge S&G fan - I think it's the super cute packaging that does me! :) I finish off by smothering myself with The Body Shop's Body Butter in Vineyard Peach. I LOVE a body butter, particularly one with an amazing fragrance, and The Body Shop never let me down with this. The only problem I have with their butters, are that they take a while to sink into your skin, which isn't great when you're in a rush to get dressed!

Day Two

Day two is hair wash day, if you've followed my blog for a while you'll remember that my July Wishlist purchase were the Bumble & Bumble products. I chose the mending range as my hair was in need of a bit of TLC. I've probably used them about 4-5 times now, and I think I'm starting to notice a change in my hair. But I'll review them properly once empty and let you know how I got on. I sometimes like to swap and change my conditioners, especially whilst using such a heavy one, and now and then I've been using my Organic Surge Conditioner instead - I like this product as it's natural, lightweight and is full of amazing oils such as grapeseed, lemon and rosemary to name just a few. I wash my face using my Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish from The Body Shop. This is the first of the Vitamin C range I've used, I usually head straight for the Vitamin E as my skin has always been a fan, but thought I'd give it a go recently as my skin was looking a bit dull after all the weather changes lately. And I haven't been disappointed, already my skin is looking brighter! I like to use it on hair wash day as, with it being gel based, it can be quite messy. I'm definitely going to be looking to trying out other products in the Vitamin C range. Whilst waiting for my conditioner to get to work on my hair, I use my Lush soap with my exfoliating gloves, all over. I'm loving the smell of this toffee scented beauty! Then as always, finish with my Body Butter.

Day Three

Day Three is scrub day! Again, I splash a few drops of Argan Oil in my bath for super smooth skin, wash my face with my ol faithful Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, then get to work buffing my skin with  the body scrub. Now I'm pretty fussy with scrubs, I've used many brands but not many actually scrub my skin the way I'd like. I want to actually feel my skin being scrubbed, not just a few colourful beads rubbing over my skin, it needs to be pretty tough; scourer stylee! Ha, you get my drift. And The Body Shop scrubs meet my needs well with their body scrubs, so I picked up a tub to go with my peach body butter the other week. Once I've scrubbed to my hearts content, I finish off with the matching body butter, and smell super sweet for the rest of the day!

So there are my current bath time products. What are your favourite products at the mo?
