My Week - Aug11th-Aug17th

Another week over. Wow, seriously, where is the time going?? Mid-August already. Scary stuff. It'll be the C word before we know it!!

I haven't had the best of weeks if I'm honest. It's been one of those weeks. A few things have got me down. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions. A mixture of anxiety, lack of sleep, comfort eating and a bit of moodiness (only a bit, obv ;)) but I'm feeling a little better about it all.  I won't go into it all now, but I've got some big decisions to make.. And keyhole surgery to look forward to next month.. :\

Some pictures from this week...
1. It was the long awaited return of one of my favourite US shows this week, Breaking Bad. Very exciting!! Slight obsession with Aaron Paul too. ;)
2. This months Glossybox arrived this week with some nice lil goodies inside! Some eyelash curlers, make up remover pen, perfume, cleanser and lip pencil. Looking forward to trying them all out. New beauty bits are always fun!! :)
3. I purchased some cute new bits from Paperchase this week, an address book and birthday book. I LOVE Paperchase!!
4. Bradley & I had lunch at Ed's Diner whilst shopping for school bits.
1. Cosmo & Company magazines - the football season has started, so this called for some ME time.. :)
2. A cheeky selfie.
3. Bradley & I created our own Superheroes after watching a movie called Sky High. :)
4. My nails this week were Essie - Nice is Nice

Favourite Product of the Week..
So this week I introduced a primer into my make up routine. I haven't used one before but I've been using Beautiful Movements Cosmetics (BM Beauty) 's Prime & Create Primer (£20), which you can use alone as a primer for a matte base, or mix with powders or pigments to create other make up looks. I've been applying it after my Olay CC Cream, before my foundation, and my make up has gone on more smoothly and I've definitely noticed my make up stay put longer! I've also been experimenting by mixing it with my MAC pigments and applying it on my cheeks, eyes and lips! Been a top product this week, and BM are a great company, standing up for all things cruelty free!

Favourite Fragrance of the Week..
This is a surprising one really. This week I've found myself reaching for an old favourite.. Amor Amor by Cacharel. This was my staple fragrance through my early 20's and I picked up a small bottle a few months ago for old times sake. I love the smell, and the memories it holds :)

Favourite Bit of the Week..
Snuggling up with my boys watching movies. <3

What I Learnt This Week..
I'm ready for a change. No matter how risky or scary it is..

Favourite Blogpost of the Week..
I loved reading #MyLittleSkincareProject - Dry Skin by Sophia at Tattooed Tealady this week. Sophia is an amazing blogger and I love this little idea of sharing tips from different bloggers with different skin types. It includes great information, advice and product ideas. I'm looking forward to reading the post for my skin type!

Tweet of the Week..
'It's easy to get wrapped up in negativity be stronger and stay positive x' - @Josiestweet
After this weeks events, it's something I've had to concentrate on a lot, trying to stay positive, when its just so easy to feel sorry for myself and worry myself silly..

Hope you've all had a fab week, what have you been upto?
