What's In My Bag

Hey guys,

Just a cheeky 'Whats In My Bag' post today...
I've been on the sick for almost 2 weeks following surgery last week so I haven't been out and about very much, I think I've probably only left the house 3 or 4 times in the past 2 weeks, so I've only really been using this bag lately. It's one I mainly use for work, but have just been grabbing this a lot if I've nipped out.

It's just a beige & black, shoulder, 'over-the-body' handbag I bought from Miss Selfridge, I think it was last year?! Maybe even the year before?!

Let's take a look inside...

Purse - My River Island purse pretty much takes up my whole bag! It's my casual, daytime purse that goes everywhere with me. I've had it for about 2 years I think.

Pen - Always need a pen in your bag, right?

Keys - Also go everywhere with me, obv!

Mirror - I received this mirror in the Leicester Blogger Meet Up goody bag, which I unfortunately couldn't make due to having my op a few days before, but the organiser Hareem & the lovely Emma decided to send me a goody bag, which was so nice of them!! It's a really nice handbag mirror in a cute little case to protect it.

Jimmy Carr Tickets - Found these tucked into a pocket from last month, oops! James & I went to see him a few weeks back, he was great.

Dior Eye Palette - I carry this travel sized Dior eye shadow palette in my bag as you never know when you're going to need a little extra shimmer, or for touch ups if I'm ever going somewhere straight after work.

MAC Studio Tech - Of course, this baby goes everywhere with me, I use my MAC Studio Tech throughout the day for touch ups. Read my review on my favourite ever product here.

Perfume - I always have a bottle of travel sized perfume in my little bag, for a little freshen up throughout the day, and when I'm leaving work. At the moment it's Amor Amor, which is such a nice scent from years ago that I never get tired of!

Hair Perfume - I use this Herra Protect perfume every day to freshen up my hair, it's a fab product that protects as well as freshens up and makes your hair smell amazing! Read my review here.

Hand Cream - It's really important for me to keep hand cream in my bag to keep my hands soft, especially when I'm at work. Working with young children, I'm constantly washing my hands which can be really drying for my skin. I'm currently using MONU Spa Hand & Nail Cream

Powder - To keep any shine at bay, I keep my Benefit Hello Flawless Powder in my bag at all times. It's a really nice powder that I've repurchased a fair few times.

Anti-Bac Hand Gel - Super important to keep anti-bac on hand, wherever I am. I use it on my breaks at work, and when I'm out and about, before I eat. It's especially useful when I'm out with Bradley too. I think this one was just one I picked up in Primark.

Gum - Always have to have gum on hand! :)

Selection of Lip Makeup - I always have a few different lipsticks or glosses in my handbag, depending on my look, etc. The selection swaps and changes all the time. But just lately I have a Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in creme brûlée, my best friend bought me this as a 'get well soon' present after seeing it on my Wishlist. After having general anaesthetic and an oxygen mask for my surgery last week, it left my lips really dry, which I don't usually suffer from as I'm always using lip products. So I've been applying this lip butter when I've nipped out lately as it's super moisturising! This travel sized Urban Decay Lip Junkie always sits in my bag, it came from my Naked2 Palette and I often use it for touch ups on my breaks at work or whenever else I fancy a wash of colour. I also have this Oh Organics lip balm which I also received in the goody bag which I popped into my handbag to keep my lips in tip top condition while I try and bring them back to their usual soft, supple selves!! :) It's really moisturising and smells of oranges, yum!

Mascara - I always carry a drug store mascara around in my bag for touch ups, I don't usually need it as my mascara usually lasts all day with no need for re-application, but in case I have to nip out after work or for any other reason, this sits in my handbag just in case, as I don't like to carry my premium favourites around with me in case I lose them, which I manage to do on nights out. A lot. To be honest, for a drug store brand, this Rimmel Extra Super Lash is a pretty good mascara!

So, there you go you nosey lot!
Leave me comments, I love them! ;)
