Life | My Week [Nov24-Dec1]

Hi guys,

Happy December!! Hope you are all enjoying the starting of the festive period!! Looking forward to putting the trees (yes we have 2! ;)) and decorations up this evening!! Exciting!!

There hasn't been much going on this week, a busy week at work and the usual house duties at home.
I attended Emma's (NotYourAverage) #EastMidsMeetUp yesterday which was a fantastic day. Emma did an amazing job and I met some lovely people! I'll do a full blog post about it later in the week so look out for that.

My project #TheSkinProject began last Sunday, hope you enjoyed reading all the first posts, this weeks post was all about Cleansing. To read all the posts involved in the project check out the Twitter hashtag #TheSkinProject. If you fancy jumping on board then pop me an email over to thebrunettesays@hotmail.co.uk.

I'm thinking of swapping my Glossybox subscription to another beauty box from next year. I've had Glossybox for a couple of years now and fancy a change. Any amazing beauty boxes you recommend??

Some pictures from this week...
I'm trying out a new serum this week, Premae's Harmony serum. Premae are an allergy free brand I've heard lots of good reviews about, so I'm looking forward to seeing how I get on | On my nails this week I have the gorgeous glossy black from the Nails Inc / Kate Spade collection included in this months Glamour magazine. My friend picked it up for me, along with Cosmo too. She's a good 'un! | Some of the lovely ladies at the #EastMidsMeetUp this weekend | My goody bag tag made by the lovely Emma!
It's December, yay!! I love December, such a lovely, exciting time of year!! | Our advent calendars, I have the Boots Beauty Advent Calendar, Bradley has a Trash Pack Advent Calendar, which he gets a lil toy behind each window, and I bought James 2 chocolate ones as we had special ones! :) | Behind the 1st window, a fab miniature Soap & Glory body wash - win!! :) | Some of the yummy cocktails we got through at the meet up on Saturday.

Favourite Product of the Week...
During the winter months, I try to work extra hard at keeping my lips soft, supple and in good condition. I see people with dry, chapped lips and there really is nothing worse. I've always looked after my lips and I rarely suffer with sore lips. This week especially I've been loving Dr Lipp's Nipple Cream for Lips (£11.50) - it's amaaaaazing stuff!! I love the glossy sheen it leaves, making it a perfect product to wear on lighter make up days. My sample is almost out so I'm definitely popping it on my Wish List so I can pick some more up!

Favourite Fragrance of the Week...
Whilst shopping in Derby this weekend, I came across the perfumes in Zara and fell in love with the smell of Zara Woman 92 Champs Elysees Paris, it was soooo nice! It's already sitting nicely on my Wish List! ;)

Favourite Bit of the Week...
Saturday's #EastMidsMeetUp was a fantastic day! And Sunday evening putting the trees up with my boys, whilst listening to Christmas music followed by Christmas movies was just magical!

Song of the Week...
After this weeks XFactor, I was reminded just how much I like the song 'Skinny Love' - it's been in my head ever since!

Favourite TV of the Week...
We've been snuggling up watching Christmas films a lot these past few days. Bradley & I loved watching one called 'Naughty or Nice' the other day. :)

Favourite Tweet of the Week...
'Did anyone else know that Tamera is only 16?! F**k off Louis!! #XFactor' - @helfkndoes.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm getting soooo annoyed with the fact that they're too quick to mention, frequently, that Tamera is ONLY 16 when she messes up. But no one ever mentions that fact that Nicholas or Luke are amazingly talented but are also only 16? Tamera needs to go now me thinks!!

Catch up on this weeks blogposts...

Have a fab week guys!!
