Fashion | OOTD - Pop of PINK!

I thought it about time I threw in an OOTD post.

Dressing whilst pregnant is a struggle, anyone that has been pregnant knows this. But throwing in a pop of colour, or the right accessories can really finish off an outfit.

One outfit I've enjoyed wearing lately has been this one...

Whilst still being comfy in leggings and a stretchy cami top, the coloured blazer brightens the outfit up, and a matching lippy finishes it off nicely.

[My apologies for the poor image quality, they were random 'bump pictures' taken on my iPhone which I decided to use as part of an OOTD post... And also, please forgive me for the state of my face at present! :/]

Coloured Blazer New Look (£24.99)
Black Leggings New Look (£6.99)
Black Cami top Primark (£4.99)
Skull Scarf Police (Free Gift*)
Pink Lipstick MUA (£1.00)

Stretchy leggings are ideal when I'm out and about as they're comfy and easy to wear and move around in. I picked up some cheap cami tops and vest tops from Primark as they're also comfy and perfect for stretching over my bump. I usually throw over a cardi, or a hoody if I'm at home or if I'm wanting to feel a bit brighter or more summery then I'll pop on a coloured blazer, such as this one.
I finished off this outfit with this grey [although I was convinced it was black!] and white skull scarf and a slick of matching pink lippy!

When I purchased the pink blazer, I popped into Superdrug to pick up a cheap lippy to match. I found this bright fuchsia shade that matched it perfectly, from MUA. MUA is known for being cheap, cheap, cheap! And undeniably it's no MAC, but as far as cheap high street brands go, it does the job.
I prefer a more creamier lipstick, and I'm used to a MAC lippy myself; this is quite matte and drying, but the stain lasts on my lips the whole day, even after eating. I do like to pop a gloss over the top for more of a sheen. At £1, you can't complain!!

It's a perfect match, don't you think?

Applying such a bright colour to the lips can seem quite daunting, I found that this short clip from House of Fraser, on how to apply this hot pink colour to the lips was a great help, take a look...

This shade of hot pink is probably my favourite colour ever, I love it! I do wish I was more daring with bright make up, I usually stick to nude lips, but this finishes off the outfit nicely.

Don't you agree??
