Pregnancy | 24 weeks

How far along?
24 weeks.

Size of baby?
This week the baby was approx a foot long, about the size of an ear of corn.

Any news this week?
Baby is now big enough that I'm feeling real strong kicks in my ribs and seeing lots of physical movement all over my bump, top and bottom. It's so lovely!!
I've not had a very good week this week, I've been feeling quite down due to work stress and my doctor and midwife have been quite concerned.
Other than that, I had a midwife appointment which otherwise went well, she measured my bump and said all felt fine. Been booked in for my GTT next week, not looking forward to that!!

I've been practically living in my maternity jeans from ASOS this week. My friend also gave me a maternity top from Mamalicious which is really comfy and makes my bump look fab! :) At night time I've been wearing James' tshirts and boxers for bed for a while now - sexy huh? ;)
Over the weekend the weather has been lovely, on Saturday I went to our nieces 2nd birthday party, then went out with James' family to celebrate LCFC winning the Championship and going up to the Premier League; I wore my maxi skirt, a vest top and a coloured blazer. At home I've been living in lounge pants to stay comfy.

This week I've still been moisturising with the Sanctuary Body Butter (£10.00*) and Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10).

Nothing really, other than the emotional side, I've physically felt fine this week.

I've struggled to sleep full nights sleep this week with how I've been feeling emotionally plus James' snoring has been off the scale lately!! :/ Not actually sure how he stays asleep as I swear he wakes the street up!!!

Missing anything?
Not really, although I'd love an ice cream sundae! ;)

Oh lots of very strong movement! Lovely to feel him all over now too, rather than just down low movement. His limbs are all over the place and I keep seeing him popping out all over the bump. Its so special in the evenings when James & I lie and watch him moving and kicking and James will chat and sing to him. Amazing times!! <3 Bradley felt him kick for the first time this week too, I asked him to put his hand on the top of my bump, and he gave some really strong kicks, he shouted 'WOW!' So cute!

Any purchases?:
We purchased the Teddy In The Park Moses Basket (£25.00) and the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Steriliser Kit (£40.00) from Asda, and James bought some trousers that we'd already got, doh! :)

Best moment this week:

Feeling his kicks and movements up high and all over my bump <3

Worst moment this week:
Feeling so down :(

Food cravings:
No real cravings, but have really fancied tomato flavoured Snaps and ice lollies / ice poles this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick:

Belly Button in or out?

Still in but stretching a lot and is def on it's way out.

Low. :(

Looking forward to:

Reaching the 3rd trimester.

Can't believe I'm now 25 weeks, 15 weeks to go!!
