Pregnancy | 29 weeks

How far along?
29 weeks.

Size of baby?

Baby is apparently measuring approx. the length of a cucumber.

Any news this week?

I started purchasing some essentials for my hospital bags this week. I'll put a post together on my hospital bags soon.
I've been suffering quite bad with my back this week. With him being breech, the backache and breathlessness are so much worse. It's really uncomfortable having his head in my ribs and his feet kicking my bits!! I'm just hoping he turns soon, before he runs out of room! The back ache has been horrendous :( It's on the right halfway down; about where his head would be & I just can't find a comfortable position to stop the pain. :(

Clothes?
All maternity now - leggings and vest tops usually.

Products?
This week I've continued to moisturise daily with both Phytorelax Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream [as far as I'm aware you can only get this in the US, unless imported into stores such as TK Maxx which is where I picked it up from; £4.99] And of course my faithful, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10*).

Symptoms:
Obviously my bad back ache. And still a little acid reflux, but it's not causing me any discomfort.

Sleep:
Fortunately despite the back ache I've been managing to get a good nights kip, I've been out for the count!

Missing anything?
Whippy ice cream. James had a McFlurry this week and I was devastated, how selfish lol. Also lying on my tummy, wahhhh I can't wait to be able to lie on my tummy!!

Movement:
Still lots of strong movements.

Any purchases?:
We bought the Winnie the Pooh Starry Night bath set (£39.99) from Babies R Us, and then the GroEgg Room Thermometer (£13.50) as it's on offer, Forehead Thermometer Strips (£4.99), Duck Bath Thermometer (£5.99) & an I Love Mummy & Daddy bodysuit (£5.00) and Bib (£3.00) from Mothercare. I think we're pretty much sorted now. Just a few more bits for my hospital bags and we're all ready to go. We could do with a few more outfits in 0-3 and 3-6 but we're going to wait till he's born now. People often buy presents and I don't want to end up over buying clothes and him not being able to wear them.

Best moment this week:
Buying the last few bits. And turning 30 weeks; fab milestone!! :)

Worst moment this week:
The backache has been awful. :(

Food cravings:
Chocolate - particularly Revels!

Anything making you queasy or sick:

No.

Belly Button in or out?

Its almost out. The back of my belly button is pretty much at the surface now.

Mood:

I've been fine, although a bit tired and cranky due to the backache!

Looking forward to:

Our HD Live scan next week, and next MW appointment, really want to know if he's turned!!

Can't believe I'm now 30 weeks, 10 weeks to go!!
