Pregnancy | 33 weeks

My Secret Stork gift from a girl in my pregnancy group | 33 week bump shot | Matching tshirts for Bradley & baby | Getting ready to fill the baby's wardrobe

How far along?
33 weeks.

Size of baby?

Huge. lol.

Apparently he's about the size of a durian fruit, whatever one of those are! :)

Any news this week?

I'm now gaining weight rapidly, which is massively taking it out of me. I'm not sure I can get much bigger!! I'm constantly tired, uncomfortable and I'm struggling quite a bit with my torn stomach muscles, I even had to visit the GP to see if there was anything else they could do. She prescribed me some anti flamatory cream but couldn't give me any stronger painkillers that were safe to take in pregnancy. She said I pretty much had to grin and bare it for a few more weeks, but if it got too bad that I couldn't cope they may think about delivering early. But that's last resort. I've been ordered to rest as much as poss, try not to bend, no lifting, not too much walking; which is all a lot easier said than done when you have a house to run, a family to look after and a baby to get ready for! :) I'm spending this weekend resting up, while the boys aren't here and I don't have to run around after them! :)

We went to Ikea this week to buy furniture and bits for baby. I think we're pretty much all done now. Just need our Mamas & Papas delivery of the cot bed, changing table and car seat, which I think will be here just over a week. Ive been washing, ironing and sorting through his clothes this week too.
I was playing a game with the ladies in my pregnancy group this week, measuring our bumps with toilet roll. This week my bump measured 9 and a half pieces of toilet roll. :)
Clothes?
So I'm down to 2 pairs of New Look Maternity Leggings (£14.99 x2) and 3 maternity vests/tops from Beebies Baby Store. Theres no point in me buying anything else with only a few weeks left.

Products?
I'm still moisturising daily with both Phytorelax Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream all over [as far as I'm aware you can only get this in the US, unless imported into stores such as TK Maxx which is where I picked it up from; £4.99] And moisturising my bump daily with Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£2.10). I'm still reaching for my Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz (£3.12) to cool down my feet as they get so hot!! I've also started to introduce Elastolabo Perineal Massage Gel (£17.49*) this week, although its scaring the hell out of me to use!!

Symptoms:
Pain from torn stomach muscles, back ache, acid reflux/heartburn, over-tiredness, hot feet, restless legs.

Sleep:
I'm so exhausted and tired and not napping through the day so when it comes to evening I'm knocked out sleeping really well. I'm so glad about that as I know people usually really struggle to sleep by this part, so I'm not taking it for granted right now! :) I'm still sleeping on top of the covers every night, wrapped around my Argos Sleep Pillow (£11.99).

Missing anything?
Just having energy and feeling normal. :)

Movement:
His limbs are super strong in there! Movements are getting quite painful now he's running out of room to move.

Any purchases?:
Other than the wardrobe and toy cabinets from Ikea, I also got the Babymel Ella Spot Changing Bag (£49.99 down from £60.00) from Mamas & Papas. I was shopping for Bradley and had to buy matching tops from the baby range in River Island too!!

Best moment this week:
Seeing all the baby furniture set up and starting to fill it with clothes :).

Worst moment this week:
The pain of torn stomach muscles.

Food cravings:
I'm still pretty much living on cereal and ice lollies! But I get random cravings for things. A girl on Facebook mentioned Pop Tarts and that was it, I was craving Pop Tarts so bad. I was gutted when James said they didn't sell them in the store he manages. What?!

Anything making you queasy or sick:

No.

Belly Button in or out?

It's def more of an outy now!!

Mood:

Really tired.

Looking forward to:

My 34 week midwife appointment this week. The delivery of my Mamas & Papas furniture.

Can't believe I'm now 34 weeks, 6 weeks to go!!
