Original Source Shea Butter & Honey handwash | Lacura cotton wool pads | Sanctuary Spa Luxury bath float | Avon Nail Experts Corrector Pen | Cussons Carex Complete chocolate orange hand wash | Beauty Narcotix The Ultimate Fix fixing spray
I loved using this over winter, a yummy chocolatey fragrance whilst having a nice hot bath was perfect. I did go off the scent in early pregnancy, as I did many fragrances, but luckily I was able to use it again lately.
Would I Recommend? Yes, if you're a chocolate lover definitely.
Would I Repurchase? Yes I would, I want to try the body butter next! Yum!
So...? Brit body spray (price unknown)
I bought this as part of a goody bag from The Clothes Show. To me, it looks as though it is aimed at younger, teenage girls. I loved the smell, definitely one of the nicest So...? fragrances I've tried. It's fresh, fruity yet vanilla-ey. I have a feeling it may have been discontinued though as I can't seem to find it at the main online stores.
Would I Recommend? Yes, it's a lovely fragrance for an everyday body spray.
Would I Repurchase? If it is still available to purchase then yes I'd pick it up if I saw it on offer somewhere.
MAC Prep & Prime lash (£13.00)
I've used this for years, and recommended it to many friends. When this ran out earlier last week I quickly realised how much I relied on it as my mascara just didn't have the same effect. I have lost a few eyelashes due to pregnancy and this helps to condition them as well as helping mascara last longer and build intensity.
Would I Recommend? Most definitely!
Would I Repurchase? I already have ;)
Phytorelax Shea Butter ultra rich body cream (£6.00/TKMaxx)
I can't seem to find this available to purchase online, but I picked up a pot of this in TKMaxx. I felt it was more of a lotion than a rich body cream or butter which I prefer, it was quite thin and would take a long time to dry and sink into my skin.
Would I Recommend? There are a lot better out there, so probably not.
Would I Repurchase? No it's not something I'd use again.
Garnier Micellar cleansing water (£3.33/Boots)
Now becoming a firm favourite, I use this daily to remove my makeup at the end of the day. I love how fresh it makes my skin feel, removes every bit of makeup easily and isn't at all drying. It's just fab stuff! And lasts forever!
Would I Recommend? Yes yes yes!
Would I Repurchase? Over and over.
Original Source Shea Butter & Honey handwash (£2.20/Tesco)
I picked this up when it was on offer in Asda for £1, I love creamy hand washes and this was just lovely. It smells lovely and leaves skin feeling soft and buttery.
Would I Recommend? Yes, it's a lovely creamy hand wash.
Would I Repurchase? If it's ever on offer again I'll pick it up and use it again, yes.
Lacura cotton wool pads (99p for 2 pack/Aldi)
I use these to remove my makeup in the evenings and considering they're so cheap, they're one of the best I've tried. Cheaper brands have fallen apart, been too thin and felt quite rough on my skin before now, but these are just lovely. They're nice and thick, feel lovely and soft on my skin and are easily used double sided.
Would I Recommend? Yes!
Would I Repurchase? Yes!
Sanctuary Spa Luxury bath float* (£10.00 full size/Boots)
This has been the bubble bath we've been using as a family lately, a travel size version I received in a gift set. It has the statement Sanctuary Spa fragrance and lathers up into lots of bubbles which leave the skin feeling soft afterwards.
Would I Recommend? It's a lovely luxury brand bubble bath, but you could get the same effect with a much cheaper brand.
Would I Repurchase? I probably wouldn't spend £10 on a bubble bath to be honest.
Avon Nail Experts Corrector Pen (£7.00/Avon)
I bought this when it was on offer as a new release, which is lucky as £7.00 is a shocking amount to pay for such a product. I was really disappointed. Remember ink erasers at school? The white tip easily removes any smudges or nail polish you may get on the skin, great idea I thought. And on first use it was great. But only the second time I went to use it, the tip was obviously covered in the nail polish from last time and had also dried out. I couldn't use it at all. So I'd basically bought it just for one use. Rubbish.
Would I Recommend? No, I wouldn't bother.
Would I Repurchase? No.
Cussons Carex Complete chocolate orange handwash (£1.00/Tesco)
If you followed my blog back in September last year, you may have seen my Dear Carex post, where I sincerely thanked Carex for introducing their amazing family favourites range. These are honestly the only way I can be sure Bradley is washing his hands thoroughly, as he just loves the smell of them! I've stocked up on a few different ones to keep us going!! :)
Would I Recommend? Yes, especially if you have a young family. Or you're just a fan of yummy smelling hands!! ;)
Would I Repurchase? Yes, I think regular trips to Tesco to stock up are in order.
Beauty Narcotix The Ultimate Fix fixing spray (£9.50/Selfridges)
I received this in a beauty box, a fixing spray for quick drying nails. And pure and simple, it works. Not only does it help nails to dry super quick, it provides a glossy shine and a long lasting finish. I loved using it. I'm so impatient after painting my nails so this helped dry them quickly.
Would I Recommend? If you can afford the price tag, then go ahead, it's a fab product!
Would I Repurchase? Probably not for £9.50, but I'm on the lookout for a cheaper version.
So those are the products I got through this month, are any your favourites?
