Life | September Favourites & Update

October?? October?? Seriously this year is flying by!!!
Well, September has been an amazing month, living in my little baby bubble, getting to know my beautiful baby boy, spending time with my little family, house hunting and James' work promotion. Everything is great, as it should be and I'm at the happiest I've been in my life!! :)

So these were some of my favourites from September...

FAVOURITE:

Skincare Product of the Month...
I LOVE Olay products, they're definitely my favourite skincare range. I'm a big fan of their Regenerist products and usually use their CC Cream, but I'm attempting to budget my beauty spend and make some sacrifices to save some pennies, so picked up their Olay Essentials Complete Care Plus Multi Radiance Moisturising Cream (£9.99/Boots) instead. It's lovely, it feels great on my skin and sinks in beautifully.

Haircare Product of the Month...
I've found myself using my Hask Keratin Protein Shampoo a lot this month, simply as its a fab all rounder, smells amazing and helps my hair feel smooth and strong.

MakeUp Product of the Month...
As I've been trying to step away from my usual premium beauty faves, I've been visiting the low end beauty aisles and been pleasantly surprised. I picked up a Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss (£2.99/Boots) and I adore it!! It's a deliciously creamy lip balm, that goes on really creamy and is super moisturising and has a touch of colour, a beige/cream/nude finish. It makes my lips look and feel fab and I'm constantly applying it, its lush!!

Bath/Body Product of the Month...
I'm coming to the last of my Bomb Cosmetics Lemon Meringue Delight Soap Cake (£2.49), it's almost finished so I'm making the most of the yummy lemony scent I'm left with after using it. :)

Fragrance of the Month...
I always apply lip product at the end of the day once I've removed my make up, and just lately I've been using Bomb Cosmetics What A Melon Intense Lip Treatment (£2.49), the watermelon scent is just amazing, I can't get enough of it!!

Item of Clothing of the Month...
Well I've managed to squeeze into a pair of jeans for the first time since falling pregnant! Albeit size 12 jeans, it makes a nice change to wear something other than leggings or stretchy clothes!! The Slit Knee Acid Wash Skinny Jeans (£20.00/Boohoo) are super comfy!

Home Product of the Month...
This is probably a bit random BUT, Power Force Anti Bacterial Multi Action Wipes (75p/Aldi) have been a god send just lately. They're perfect for quick fixes in the kitchen and bathroom and despite being so cheap, they're really good at cleaning. They cut through grease amazingly well for just a wipe!

Baby Product of the Month...
How absolutely amazing is the Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Perfect Prep Machine (£69.99/Toys R Us)??? I am now fully formula feeding, and with a bottle made up in less than 2 minutes at the perfect temperature, this fantastic little gadget is well and truly THE best baby buy EVER!! I remember none too well the stress of waiting for the kettle to boil and cool, or heating up bottles, with Bradley screaming for a feed. And with Taylor being a right little grumpy bum as it is, I can't imagine how he'd be if he had to wait longer than 2 minutes for a feed!! :)

Read of the Month...
Bradley and I have still been reading at bedtime [providing Taylor is settled, sometimes he likes to put a stop to reading time!! :)]. We're currently reading Frankie's Magic Football: Frankie and the World Cup Carnival by Frank Lampard (£5.45/Amazon) and we're really enjoying it.

Music of the Month...
I don't think I've heard much music this month. Nothing that stands out to me anyway! :) I think I've been a bit sheltered from the world just lately. :)

TV of the Month...
Now, being on Maternity Leave means I get to watch as much daytime telly as I wish and not feel guilty about it. And I'm loving Who's Doing The Dishes? right now! Brian McFadden is doing a fab job presenting it. I think I'd be pretty good on it myself! ;)

Film of the Month...
haven't had time to watch any films this month. :)

Day Trip/Night Out of the Month...
I haven't been out much with Taylor being so young. Nowhere exciting anyway. The fact I got rather excited over a trip to Ikea to get some inspiration for decorating our new house, definitely means I'm getting old! ;)

  6. I love my Tommee Tippee machine! I wasn't impressed when hubby brought it home, and I read a lot of reviews about it being a 'gimmic' or a waste of money, but it is fantastic. Takes all the thinking out of making a bottle (except for the counting... which can be hard in the middle of the night) - and means the bottle's always perfect in just a couple minutes. #weekendbloghop

  7. I think I need to give the shampoo a try - it sounds gorgeous. My tunes of the moment are Left Hand Free and Every Other Freckle, both by Alt-J. Highly recommend their album! Thank you for linking to PoCoLo :) x
