April Favourites & Update

I'm always late posting these!! But life is pretty chaotic so I'm short of free time lately.
So, April.
We ate chocolate at Easter. We enjoyed a few weeks of sunshine. We went on a few fun family days out. We were busy with our jobs. Taylor started crawling, life changed!! :) Another month went by and we're still not in the new house. So we're living out of boxes, and struggling to sleep train Taylor while he's still in our room, but hopefully we'll have better news on that next month.

Anyway, onto my Favourites of April...

FAVOURITE:

Skincare Product of the Month...
Find me a super toner better than anti blemish treatment, Skinetica (£7.00)!! I've been using this for a couple of years and I LOVE it. My skin has never been so clear. I use it as part of my evening skincare routine, every other day.

Haircare Product of the Month...
I'm going to say my Mark Hill Style & Shine Hairdryer (£24.99/Boots), it dries my thick hair really fast, and keeps it shiny and smooth with it's infused morrocan oil. LOVE!! It's currently half price in Boots so snap it up!

MakeUp Product of the Month...
Ive been reaching for my old faithful MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle (£23.00) a lot this month, I hadn't used it for a while, it slipped to the bottom of my make up box and I'd been using other products. But I found it one morning and it's been something I've been using a lot since.I love the finish it gives and leaves my skin looking fresh and highlighted.

Bath/Body Product of the Month...
I can't get enough of my The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Shower Cream (£4.00) its really thick and luxurious and smells amazing!! My Dad and Step Mum buy me some every Christmas so I'm never short! :)

Fragrance of the Month...
As we had a few really warm weeks, I reached for one of my favourite fragrances from last summer, the The Body Shop Satsuma Body Mist (£7.50), it's such a gorgeous, fruity smell that reminds me of sunshine and fun, summer days.

Baby Product of the Month...
I bought 4 different beakers but Taylor just wouldn't take to any, until we received the Nuby Grip N Sip No Spill First Cup (£2.99) in last months Sassybloom box and he took to it straight away due to its soft silicone spout. And he soon learnt to hold it himself to drink.

Read of the Month...
Bradley and I are still reading The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole by Sue Townsend, after we went to see the theatre play. It's actually really entertaining for the both of us, which I love.

TV of the Month...
I got super excited to see Vanderpump Rules return. I have a huge love/hate thing with Stassi!!

Film of the Month...
I dont think I had time to watch any films during April

How was your April?

  1. Luke was the same with sippy cups. I bought so many and he wouldn't take to any. So we bought the nuby cup with the soft spout and he loved it. Far better than any of the training cups of sale. I can't believe how much money I wasted buying tommee tippee training cups!
I am a huge Body Shop fan too. I think the first perfume I ever bought was their Moroccan roses perfume when I was in my early teens. I haven't bought any since but now I think I might! Ray xx

  2. We had the same problem with beakers and cups - took me ages to get them to drink milk out of them and in the end I gave up and put it in a cup with a straw!

Would love for you to come and link this up to my Favourite Five that I run every month. linky http://bit.ly/1HelbpK
