December Beauty Favourites

beauty favourites

Anyone else feel like December only lasted about 10 days? It was over far too quickly! I can't quite get my head around the fact that it's 2016 already!!

These are my top 5 favourite products of the month:

terry muglar, alien, perfume, fragrance, scent

(£39.00/The Perfume Shop)
I adore this scent, I'm no good at describing fragrances but believe me it's a beauty. I received this one for Christmas but I've been previously using a sample tube and loving it!

essie, mink muffs, nail polish, nail varnish, nails

(£7.99/Boots)
Despite the name, which is slightly cringy, I'm in love with this polish. You may remember it from my Autumn Wishlist. It's been my go-to over the festive period. I love Essie polishes, they're super shiny, perfectly opaque in a couple of coats and are long lasting even without a top coat.

scott cornwall, colour restore chocolate, brunette, hair colour, hair care

I've started box dying my hair to save money, so to keep it looking freshly coloured I've been using this rich depth pigment as a regular conditioner. It replenishes faded tones and leaves it looking shiny and in great condition. It's quite expensive for the size of the product, so I'll be gutted when it runs out as I'm really pleased with the results.

sanctuary spa, hand cream

I have a tube of hand cream next to my bed and apply it every night as part of my evening skincare routine. This month I've started using this one from Sanctuary Spa. I own a lot of Sanctuary products as my other half has bought me the big hat-box sets the past couple of Christmas'. They use this during their manicures, it contains lashings of shea butter and sweet almond oil so keeps them really soft.

l'oreal elvive, extraordinary oil, hair oil, hair care

I've quite possibly mentioned this in my favourites a couple of times before, but it's once again a favourite product this month. It's a product that I repurchase again and again as I just love how it makes my hair feel, and I own numerous hair oils. After use it helps to make hair feel smooth, soft, super shiny and works as heat protection too. It's fab stuff!

What have you been loving this month?

  2. I love your picks! I am really into perfume at the moment, as I've recently acquired a few new ones, and I do love an interesting bottle. I'm also a fan of Essie nail polishes, but think they need to employ new name thnker-uppers!

  3. Ah I feel the need for a new perfume :-) I wish I made more effort with my beauty regime. I got a few bits for Christmas but my hair is DESPERATE for a colour. That Loreal spray may be good as my hair can be a bit dry. Thanks for sharing with #bestandworst and see you soon x
